Today, observe your feelings. You can check in with yourself every 15 minutes, or if you use a watch that reminds you to stand up and move, use that moment to check your jaw and shoulder muscles – are they stiff? Then you’re stressed.

While you move, take three long, slow, deep breaths, in through your nose and out through your mouth. Breathing like that stimulates the vagus nerves, triggering the body’s relaxation response. When you want to feel more inner peace, take inventory of your stress level and lower it with this breath exercise.
