Something isn’t better than nothing.

Let me say that again…something is NOT better than nothing.

Ok, if we’re talking about material objects or money, something can be better than nothing. If we’re talking about relationships, it’s always better to have the relationship you want and need, instead of a relationship that doesn’t suit you in every way.

It doesn’t mean you’re with a bad person or you are a bad person for wanting more – most people are good people, and yet most people are not a good fit for you. Finding the person who makes your heart sing is always worth the wait. Why settle for someone who makes your heart mutter when you can – and will! – find one who makes it sing?

Someone isn’t better than no one, and the wrong person being in your life will keep the right person from showing up.
